In the spirit of creating our own stimulus plan for small businesses, my pal John Jantsch, author of Duct Tape Marketing and renowned small business marketing guru has birthed the official March to 1000 Referrals website. From March 9-13, here’s your place to publicly demonstrate your commitment to the small business referral stimulus package. And learn about some darn awesome companies that you may want to check out.

Here’s how you do your part:
1) Make a referral. Today!
2) Go to Make a referral week
3) Scroll to the bottom of that page and add who your referred and why in the comments section – feel free to add URLs so others can learn about the business you referred.
4) Take in all the great educational content all week
5) Bask in the glow of small business coolness!

I just posted one (connecting my video pal Murv Seymour to Debra Curtiss, GM of Peak10 one of Tampa’s fasting growing data hosting companies) and it feels great, doing my small part! Small business does not need a bail out that’s for big, blindsided, mislead, sad organizations. We just need to help each other!
